Geoff has extensive senior management experience in regulatory affairs, clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, medical marketing, scientific information, continuing medical education and promotional material issues. As the Medical Director for Astra Pharmaceuticals in the UK and Ireland, he was responsible for regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilence, medical marketing, scientific information services and development of and strategy for clinical trials. Geoff served as the Senior Civil Servant and Medical Assessor for UK and EMEA Regulatory Agency. As Global VP of Medical Affairs and Drug Safety for Actelion Pharmaceuticals, he was a key member of the team behind the company's successful IPO. Geoff served as a Medical Advisor to the Chairman and Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Quintiles Transnational Corporation. Formerly, he was Professor of Oral Surgery Medicine and Pathology, medical practitioner and hospital doctor. Currently Geoff is an Adjunct Professor of Immunology at Duke University Medical Center.
